On a perfect autumn morning we had a brilliant turnout of 18 volunteers which included four new members, all young and fit!

  • Contractors had been clearing all the burnt gorse and broom since last Wednesday (3rd) and are coming back on Monday (8th) to complete the chipping and to spray the bracke...

With several members on holiday we only had 8 volunteers on what was a really pleasant sunny day without it being too warm. The jobs completed were as follows:

  • Yet another extra step was installed in the area just beyond Walter's seat. This probably won't be the last as the erosion on this path...

On another hot and sunny day we had 11 members turn out which was quite good as 3 of regulars were away for the weekend. Work completed on both reserves was as follows:

  • The six new Green Flag signs for 2018/2019 were erected.

  • Two paths that were badly overgrown were cleared.
