After seemingly like endless days of rain and wind it was great to have a sunny morning for today’s working session. We had 9 volunteers today and decided the best option was to concentrate on the Sandy Lane Open Space reserve and do a general clear up after the strong winds and rain.
On a very grey day, with light rain falling, not many volunteers were expected to turn out for this session. We were already aware that six of our regulars were unable to attend through illness or simply being away for the weekend.
