After another very stormy week there was plenty to do and luckily we had 13 members today.

The Council had mown the wildflower areas in the last few weeks and even though the cutting machine collects most of the dead vegetation the Council had asked if we could rake these areas to remove the thatch. Five of us completed this and removed the thatch from the site.

We also swept the steps leading from Thoresby Road....

.. and for the fifth time this year we completely cleared the leaves, tree debris and mud from the bridleway.

As always litter picking was carried out on both reserves. Finally the repaired bird boxes were also put back.
