Only six volunteers attended work session today, which is almost our lowest ever turnout. Hopefully this is just a blip due to holidays
Despite the low turnout we managed to complete the scheduled jobs for today which included:
- opening up two very overgrown pathways
- removing some overhanging tree branches
- clearing all main paths of encroaching bramble, nettles etc.
As we moved around the two reserves we also collected any litter and we will continue to do this on a weekly basis at least through the school holiday period.
The Friends are always looking for extra pairs of hands to help out or to simply support their work, so...
