We had a surprisingly good turnout of 11 members considering it was Easter Sunday and four of our regulars had already offered thier apologies for this session.
The two priority jobs today were to plant the 100 plug plants of Bulbous Buttercups and Harebells in the new grassland area and also to rake over the wildflower area at the Sandy Lane entrance and sow the seeds.
These two jobs were completed and in addition a litter pick of both reserves was carried out and some of the Heather brash was scattered in an area near the Alexandrina plantation viewpoint.
We also cleared the muddy section adjacent the wildflower area and removed a few overhanging branches around Red Rock to make access easier for collecting rubbish.
