On a cold but at least dry morning we had nine members turning out and the jobs completed were:
- All bird boxes were cleaned out and nearly all had been used. As always a few older ones were falling apart and we need to replace these in the next few months.
- The bridle path was once again swept to clear the leaves and pieces of fallen tree debris.
- A start was made on digging our the mugwort from the triangle near the Brookside Ave entrance. We hope that over time we can restore this to a wildflower area.
- The litter pick was carried out as usual on both reserves.
The Friends are always looking for extra pairs of hands to help out or to simply support their work, so...
