Eight members turned out for the session and we concentrated on jobs on the Alexandrina Plantation.
The strong winds of the past week had brought a lot of debris down onto the bridle path so four of us spent the morning clearing this and also cutting back any encroaching vegetation.
We also cleared a pile of garden rubbish that had been dumped near the Maidstone Drive entrance.
Two of the group cleared the path leading from the wildflower area to the sandstone outcrop where there were overhanging branches and a huge amount of nettles which had almost closed this path.
The other two members went round the circular path to also clear both overhanging branches and brambles/nettles etc.
This month we didn't do a litter pick as a team of three have been doing this weekly for the last seven weeks.
