We had 10 members attending this morning and the following jobs were completed:
- 15 of the bird boxes were cleaned ready for next year and all apart from one had been used. None needed repair this year.
- The new Green Flag Community Award notices for 2024/2025 were erected.
- Once again mud was cleared from the bottom end of the bridle path following another month of fairly wet weather.
- The Laurel trees alongside the path near the Brookside Avenue entrance were cut back as these were overhanging the pathway.
- A large amount of broom was dug out from the area where quite a few heathers are establishing themselves.
- The usual litter collection was completed on both reserves.
The Friends are always looking for extra pairs of hands to help out or to simply support their work, so...
