9 members turned out for today's session. The main task entailed removing all the flowering heads from the rosebay willow herb to prevent it seeding and spreading outside its present two main areas.
Also, following yet another heavy storm on Friday, the bridleway needed all the washed down material clearing once more (this was also done only two weeks ago). As usual six wheelbarrows full of soil were removed from the bottom section and the whole path swept and cleared of debris. A tree had partially collapsed overhanging this path and this was also removed.
No litter picking was done today, but last weekend three of us removed well over 100 items of rubbish left by picnickers.
